Clifty Creek

The Clifty Creek project is located Southeast of Rogers, AR on a privately held property.  The relocation of the main flow channel as well as years of cattle grazing caused unstable bank condition which led to the creation of a cut bank.  The stream is an intermittent stream reliant on heavy rainfall to sustain flow and often has no flow during dry portion of the year.  This project involved trenching 4-5 feet below the bed elevation to install a stone toe structure that was keyed below the bed elevation to ensure stability.
