Josh Duzanis a native of Russellville, Arkansas and has over 15 years of local experience in the natural resources field. After receiving his BA in Biology from Hendrix College (Conway, AR) in 2003, he worked for The Nature Conservancy of Arkansas as the Cache River Project Manager and statewide Biohydrologist. Duzan has extensive experience in the implementation of stream restoration projects across the state of Arkansas. He is Level IV Rosgen-certified in Natural Channel Design and specializes in restoration planning and design, GIS modeling, and geomorphic monitoring.
Lee Moorehas over 15 years of experience in the natural resources field, specializing in project and program management. Lee received his BA from Hendrix College. Prior to working with Natural State Streams, Lee worked for ten years with the Nature Conservancy of Arkansas as the Delta Program Director and the Lower Mississippi River Program Director. He has worked on all aspects of stream and wetland restoration projects from permitting to construction. He is certified as a Rosgen Level I - Applied Fluvial Geomorphologist.
TJ Hein is a Midwestern transplant specializing in freshwater biology. TJ received his BS in Fisheries and Water Resources from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. During his time in school, he researched brook trout movement in the environmentally impacted Little Plover River, Wisconsin. Before joining the NSS team, TJ worked on the construction of two of the World’s top 100 ranked golf courses where he specialized in native plant restoration. He holds a Level II Rosgen certification in River Morphology.
